Build Skills That Go Beyond the Studio

EDC’s Youth program gives dancers ages nine to twelve the space to strengthen technique, explore personal style and connect with others. Whether a dancer is trying a class for the first time or continuing their training, supportive instruction meets them where they are and helps them move forward.

ACRO

Youth Acro

A dynamic class that combines dance technique with acrobatic elements. Dancers build strength, flexibility, balance and control while developing safe foundations in limbering, tumbling and partner-free skills.

Youth Program FAQs

Does my dancer need previous experience?

No. The Youth program includes options for new and returning dancers. Contact us if you would like help choosing the right class or level.

What is the difference between Youth and Youth/Teen classes?

Youth classes are designed for ages 9–12. Youth/Teen classes welcome eligible dancers ages 9 and older, allowing some age groups to train together.

Can my dancer take more than one style?

Depending on availability, dancers may take multiple styles. Combining classes can build well-rounded technique and help dancers discover new interests.

What should my dancer wear?

Please review the recreational dress code for clothing and shoe requirements for each style.
