A Positive Introduction to Dance
Shining Stars introduces two-year-olds to the fundamentals of movement in a welcoming, age-appropriate environment. Through music, imagination and guided play, dancers begin developing physical skills while learning how to participate independently in a class.
Confidence
Encouragement and achievable activities help dancers feel proud of each new accomplishment.
Coordination
Movement and music develop balance, flexibility, rhythm and body awareness.
Creativity
Imagination and playful learning give young dancers freedom to explore movement.
Independence
Children practise listening, following instructions and participating with their classmates.

Twinkle Toes
A joyful first ballet class using imagination, creative movement and play-based learning. Dancers begin developing strength, flexibility, balance and musicality while learning to listen and participate independently.

An energetic combination class introducing jazz and tap fundamentals through fun music, rhythm, imagination and creative movement. Dancers build coordination, musicality and confidence in an encouraging environment.

Does my child need previous dance experience?
No. Shining Stars is designed as a welcoming first dance experience for two-year-olds.
Can parents watch the class?
Yes. Parents can watch their dancer’s class on TV from the studio lobby.
Do we need to commit to the full season?
Shining Stars classes may be available as a full-season program or in 12-week sessions, depending on the class offering.
What should my child wear?
Please review the recreational dress code for Twinkle Toes and Broadway Babies attire and shoes.
