Adult Dance FAQs
What if I have never taken a dance class?
You are welcome to enquire even if you have no dance experience. Tell us a little about yourself and we’ll confirm which available class is the most appropriate place to begin.
I danced years ago. Will the class be too difficult?
You do not need to return at your former level. Contact EDC with your previous experience and how long you have been away, and we’ll help you understand the current class fit.
Can dance count as a workout?
Dance can support cardiovascular fitness, coordination, balance, mobility and strength. Intensity varies by style, choreography and individual participation.
Is there an upper age limit?
The program is for adults ages 18 and older. Contact us if you have questions about class intensity, movement needs or the best current option for you.
What should I wear?
Start with comfortable clothing you can move in. Shoes vary by style, so review the dress code or ask EDC before purchasing anything.
